Role Description

​

This is a part-time on-site role for a Dog Trainer Walker based in the eastern suburbs of Tamarama, Bondi and Bronte. The primary responsibilities of this position include conducting individual and group dog training sessions, walking dogs, and ensuring safety and enrichment during all activities. The role also involves monitoring animal behaviour, providing personalised guidance to dog guardians and handling day-to-day care tasks to maintain the health and happiness of the dogs. Candidates will engage with clients to deliver exceptional customer service, creating a positive experience for dogs and their families - and enjoy themselves too!

 

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Dog Training and knowledge of dog psychology/behaviour

• Driver’s License - confident driving a van

• Experience in animal care and ensuring the well-being of animals

• Strong customer service and communication skills to interact effectively with clients

• Proven ability to lead training sessions and manage dogs safely and effectively

• A genuine love and passion for animals

• Ability to perform physical tasks, including walking and handling dogs of different sizes and energy levels

• Previous experience in a similar role is a plus

• Relevant certifications in dog training or animal care or a willingness to get them

• Must have your own ABN
